Today we travelled to Kettle in the return leg of the league cup.

Before kick off we knew that minimum of a point today would all but send us to the semi finals next weekend.

Game started well and we tried to play on the front foot considering the weather conditions today, we managed to keep kettle quiet throughout the first half and created a handful of half chances ourselves but came to nothing.

We started the second half with the wind behind us, the game become a battle and very stop start with fouls every minute or so.
We eventually break the deadlock with seven minutes left to play when Lee Harper managed to get on the end of Jordan’s through ball, keeper makes a decent first save but fell back to Lee who slotted it home and booked our place in the semi final.
