Tuesday we played the first of three games this week and we welcomed Kettle to Savoy in the first of the two meetings this week. We got to work quickly with taking an early lead on the 16th minute when Lee Harper found Jordan Black who fired it top left hand corner after some great play in the opening exchanges. A moment of madness two minutes later cost us our clean sheet when kettle equalised with an error coming from John. We didn’t let this phase us and regained the lead on the half hour mark when Gregor floated a free kick into the six yard box and it takes a deflection and into the kettle net. Just 5 minutes later we found ourselves down to 10 men after Sean Mccrossen was sent off. The lads seen out the remainder of the first half and regrouped at Halftime.
Halftime 2-1.
The second half started and the boys despite being a man down continued to play our game and creating chances with having no real chances coming back at us. We scored a third and killed the game off when Lee Harper went past three kettle players and stuck it in the top corner with the outside of his boot. A brilliant performance after a real team performance to grab all three points. We move to Thursday which is Leslie away.
